. ktvu's ann rubin joins us with what authorities found. >>> authorities found no bomb here at the school but there will be arrests when they find the people responsible for the threats. >>> investigators are calling it -- >> reporter: investigators are calling it a hoax and a crime. >> people are messing around and things like that you shouldn't joke around about. >> it is not funny. >> reporter: authorities shut down the high school and the elementary school next door and three bomb sniffing dogs made passes through and found nothing. police say it was too detailed a threat to ignore. >> it is specific in nature, the school, the teacher. with those two elements this is something we have to take seriously and have to act upon right away. >> the threat may have appeared in more than one location. investigators responded at linbrook hic but officials say they also -- high school but officials say they also had one at an elementary school. >> we are looking at several different possibilities. >> reporter: investigators have strong leads. still they plan on taking extra precautions when the
